About a month ago I reported on the list that I downloaded a .wav file which should be Autobahn version converted from Quad8Track tape to DTS. Since I was at time time not able yet to play the .wav (could not get the DTS software decoding working), I forwarded the 450MB file to other slsk-users. And yes!! it appears to be quadrophonic!. Garry Seymour compiled a nice review which I added to my website (check my short news pages): http://www.twingkraftwerk.com/news What puzzles me is the total running time. http://home.t-online.de/home/520078056126-0001/kwdiscb.htm#usa states only 2x 9.51 per side. and the .wav I obtained it 41.57 total running time. I have already asked Klaus Zaepke to analyze further. Still have not found a way to check myself, but this review sure forces me to try again... twingo @ http://www.twingkraftwerk.com -----Original Message----- From: kraftwerk-bounces@activerecord.com [mailto:kraftwerk-bounces@activerecord.com]On Behalf Of twingo Sent: Sunday, 22 February 2004 14:40 To: kraftwerk@activerecord.com Subject: RE: [KRAFTWERK] Autobahn Quadrophonic version continued: downloaded the .rar, which contained a 440MB .wav and a .jpg cover (Quad to DTS, for DTS capable 5.1 Soundsystems, it looks like some folks in US created a CD, bootleg I guess) playing in winamp shows a time of 41:56. However I do not have a DTS decoder so can't check the sound, just here digital noise. my source says it works with his DTS amplifier. so it works! /twingo
