why should they conceal their influence? the same phenomenon stepped also with the German band "software" up: influence of jarre, kraftwerk, schulze etc.. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Petter Duvander" <petter.duvander@home.se> To: <kraftwerk@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 01, 2002 4:08 PM Subject: Re: [Kraftwerk] komputer It's very... hrm... let's just say that it's quite obvious who was their main influence. ;) The main difference between Komputer and Kraftwerk would be that the latter's dry german sense of humour has been replaced by a dry english dito. But as I said, I think you'd be disappointed if you took a listen to Komputer's new album "Market led". It's not bad, but it's not even close to the same genre. / petter At 15:57 2002-10-01 +0200, arthur brehm wrote:

has anyone of you visited the concert of 'Komputer' (funny kraftwerk sound-a-likes) in brussels, some years ago ?
No, but I saw them twice in Sweden. Pity they've gone for a techno sound of their own on the new album, I liked the Kraftwerky stuff. Komputer did it like no one else could. Then again, there wasn't that many KW-songs left to steal from. ;)
