"Rapper's delight" by the Sugar Hill Gang wasn't out until maybe '79. The only hip hop back during T.E.E. and Man Machine was by a bunny rabbit fleeting a cannabis field.
the fact that the first so called hip hop track or production was just released in 1979 doesn't mean that the underground movement called hip hop doesn't existed already for years "on the streets" of new york city, brother! that's just a plain fact and not just my humble opinion. i suggest that you visit n.y.c. and check out the true history of hip hop and talk to the people, who already made hip hop in the mid-70s (before t.e.e. was released!), which i did! peace, brother! ..::=|X|=::..
