I don't see why there wouldn't be female KW fans. There is
nothing 'male' specific about the music they make, perhaps only The Man Machine
mentions 'Man', but in German the lyric talks about a 'Mensch' (human). The word
'Man' in Expo 2000 should be understood with the same meaning, I
think.
I once read a theory that The Model was their most popular
track because the song combined 'tech' music with 'human' lyrics'. This way of
thinking links 'tech' with male and 'human' with female. I'm not too
sure.
Apart from those tracks, only Sex Object has remotely to do
with gender.
So there are no clues or messages to make KW and all male
boys club. Why shouldn't women and girls like good music? I presume that KW fans
come in all shapes, sizes, genders, colours etc. And I for one, am very pleased
with that.
