Hello everyone :) I was at the 2 first concerts in Paris (wasn't at the 3rd one only because I was bringing with me my ex-boyfriend and a good friend of mine alog on the thursday -my life in 4657 volumes) I browsed the archive and I have a few remarks to add : - stereo was a mess in both events :( - Ralf was using is hand I think mostly because he had troubles with the mic picking up the grappe of the sound system just near him. - Florian was much more alive at Frankfurt MusikMesse ;) (I was one of the people exhibiting on the "superbooth" -superbooth.com for 2 pics of Florian) - the engineer at the console had lots of trouble to cope with the audio coming in, the final mix was blurry, one satellite on thursday evening (level of the 2nd balcony, right side, middle) was out and scratching horribly during 4 song (at last the guy managed to diminished the whole thing) -On thursday there was JPG and JMJ (sigh, he's not dead :( ) in the beautiful people, the wednesday there was Jack Lang ex minister of culture and other thing who is always showing himself as he was still in charge. But on the reality side, he never made much for electronic music. (others still, but the little world of the gay club scene is not that interesting ;) -On the hardware stuff, i'm wondering what were the 2 big "cubes" behind the stage they were standing on. Returns seemed to be on the corners of the scene on front (the guys here who were screaming near the security can maybe tell if it was the case) -The album haha when it was announced officially 2 years ago and regularly postponed the french magazine TRAX was in the end making fun of it. Maybe If I can see Florian next Messe, I'll try to ask. -Next saturday I go to a gay monthly club here KABP, one of the organizers was also working for the Villette Numérique, I'll look after some news he can have, he's a die hard fan too :) -The guys in man machine shirts on wednesday, you were great! :) Well, it was the first time I could see them live, and I ENJOYED that a lot :) whatever the technical problems (burn Steinberg burn ;) Denis D)
