well ... some people really think that they can compare apples with oranges or
ev'ry other fruit , ONLY because "fruit is fruit" , which is utterly silly &
only lead to confusion & misunderstandings in the end !!! :-/
MAYBE u can even find "somethin'" that brahms has in common with the beatles ...
apart from the simple fact that they both were makin' music , but i rather
suggest that u wash your ears first , rick , in order to actually hear the HUGE
diff'rences in their compositions !!! :-o
> Would you think the "Ave Maria" (Schuberts version)
> has any Kraftwerk connection?
sure , because kw like schubert's music !!! *G+* ;-)
> Well, I think Schubert may have used a human sequencer here,
> playing the same little piano melody, repeated over and over.
are u implyin' that THIS is the "connection" between schubert & kw , rick ???
:-o
in that case , u could even compare EV'RY repetitive piano melody used in a
"techno" track with schubert's music , which is simply ABSOLUTELY_RIDICULOUS ,
sorry !!! :-/
anyway ... i suppose that we TOTALLY_DISAGREE here & that ANY kind of further
discussion about that topic really DOESN'T make any sense @ all ... @ least NOT
for me !!! *sigh* :-o
> It was about "why "music is organized noise" & a song is a song &

"quite valid" as in UTTER_NONSENSE , sorry !!! :-/
i DO pay attention , but u are talkin' nothin' but crap here , rick !!! *sigh*
:-o
> Of course a guitar is a synthesizer.
excuse me please , but in what kind of "dream world" do u live then , eh ???
>:-O
what's next then ??? :-o
comparin' ambient music with heavy metal ??? :-/
what kind of drugs are u on , mate ??? *BWG* ;-)))
PLEASE get back to THE_FACTS & to a thoughtful discussion , but STOP botherin'
us with such a PLAIN_NONSENSE , rick !!! :-/
> It's just that the parameters are more or less fixed,
> unless you're Jimi Hendrix.
your "parameters" are very obviously TOTALLY_OUT_OF_CONTROL & u are also far
from bein' ANYTHIN' like jimi hendrix , mate !!! :-o
PLEASE_GET_REAL_AGAIN_!!! *sigh* :-o
however ... greetinx ,
oh jay
