Hey, thanks a whole lot for that hint, mate, as I currently always play one song that somehow fits in the "electronic music" genre and has something to do with soccer at the end of my own radio shows, each sunday! I was just looking around for the archives for this list. Looked at http://mailman.xmission.com/pipermail/kraftwerk/ as per the header but it's only got the 2002 archive. I also found some ftp site with a lot of files from earlier years but I was wondering if there is one large downlaodable archive somewhere that's got everything? Cheers, Erik

I donÂ´t really know if it has anything to do with kraftwerk but it is always intresting to hear what people has to say and in all mail-list soccer/football becomes a relevant issue in world cup-times... i was actually hoping to post this message last sunday and write something like "Sweden - England 2-1" again and again and again but that wasnÂ´t possible to do since sweden seemed all too satisfied with a tie...

I completely agree with Erik's comment: "Even though The Mix sounded good at the time, it has aged much worse than their previous albums" -------------------------- perhaps this is because of their main focus to update their sound to the current dance trends of when the project took place personally I much prefer the originals inc. computerwelt.

A short-lived R&B trio assembled by Sly with his kid sister as a principal member (hence the name), Little Sister charted with their version of the track (US#32) in early '71. I don't understand how anyone can claim to be a kraftwerk fan and say computer love (especially) pocket calculator are just awful commercial crap, that is unless they were only a fan of kraftwerk's early prog-rock material -- sorry also I think it's odd (in my opinion) no one who discussed this mention Tanzmusik as a favorite off of Ralf&Florian Lp which is just as good as Kristallo ------------------- since i'm unsure about Daniel Miller's offer to "officially" release Kraftwerk's early lps on CD can anyone confirm this? I don't remember where the source of information came from.
