Now there are more employees to do things, lightening the load somewhat for H+F. I see what you are getting at with the H like W and the F like K, but Fritz hasn't proved himself as a composer like Bartos did. He could have a control-limitation like I was saying earlier. To the public eye, yes, Karl did more than Wolfgang, and it seems Fritz does more than Henning. You're analogy somewhat works. Henning and Fritz need a chance to prove themselves that they can match Karl and Wolfgang. Fritz Hilpert has a song credit on the German EXPO 2000 CD single. As for Wolfgang.. well I loved his book, it all came straight from the heart and he seems like a really nice guy who just wanted Kraftwerk's music to be given a much wider audience as he believed in the great music that Ralf and Florian made. All bands have members that like to be the autocratic, and Kraftwerk are like other bands in that sense, its Ralf and Florian's project, always has and always will be. If it was only R+F, they'd write when they'd feel like it and get Emil over there to help out. I'm just saying that if KW still had someone that would have writing talent/access, a new album might have came out... As far as I saw, the most animated in concert was Fernando Abrantes... I saw Fritz putting a laservideo on KW console at Rio's soundcheck. And during the concert, when the sound breakdown on TEE, he took a look on the consoles to see what's going on, look to the other members, just looking for the source of the problem. So I think he has a kind of "managing" work on stage. Of course all videos are automatic synchronized with the music, but probably he is responsible to manage teh videos, just in case of any problem. What a marvelous concert would be if KW put one guy to control, interact and chance the videos during it, don't you think? Florian, even being my favourite KW member, "don't do anything", because the robovox is pre recorded too. Maybe he controls the samplers too. Ralf plays some melodies, sometimes out of tune or rhythm, and Henning plays the bass line and some melodies. peace Nicolau www.kraftworld.hpg.com.br >>>>>> As for Fritz well.. I dont think he operates the visuals and rythmn at the same time.. thats nigh on impossible.. From what I make out the Kraftwerk concert is almost automatic and computer controlled, with Ralf usually playing counterpoints/harmonies under the main melody. Fritz controls the tempo/control changes of the rythmn, and Henning maybe the one who takes to do with loading of samples allthough he plays the lead line of  'RadioActivity'. As for Florian.. he controls the robovox..
