PS Are you in a bad mood since Katie left?
I don't know wether this is serious or provocative, but I DO KNOW that this is a private matter and must not be spread across the list.
Just to put Thomas' mind at rest, this is a reference to the TV program I'm working on (one of the contestants is called Katie and she was thrown out last week), not a personal relationship... Oh, I see. Well, you never know... I didn't yesterday for instance. Sorry about that. [how to access the server] If you really want to use a browser rather than an FTP tool, just enter ftp://login:password@ip.ip.ip.ip And it will hopefully bring up the directory listing in your browser window. Not sure if you need to add the port number, though. --- Thomas Touzimsky same shit // different day
ftp://login:password@ip.ip.ip.ip

i'm too lazy to look up the references, but i'm certain you can add a port number if its not the default. cheers brendan

Yup, stick it at the end after a colon ... ftp://login:password@ip.ip.ip.ip:port Rob's server is on the default port (21), so there's no need -- "Faith strikes me as intellectual laziness." - Robert Heinlein
