Even with e-bay, there can be big contradictions. I got my copy of "Waiting" for £30, but six months previously it was going for over £100. Just last week "Eternity Project One" CD went for £132 - but in "real life" a second-hand CD with a £130+ price sticker would never sell! Also, some people can be just plain greedy - a KLF record, for example, can be put on e-bay at a starting price of £39.99 and no one bids. However, if the same record is put on at £4.99, and the bids rise incrimentally, then sometimes it will go for a lot more. I do know there was a copy of "Record Collector" magazine that came out in 1991 which detailed prices, with a KLF discography. The prices may have risen slightly since then, particularly for later stuff, but I gather that the market in Drummond/Cauty stuff has been pretty stagnant for years. John Not Scots, just Scott-ish
