Am I correct that several tracks on the art of chill 4 compilation are taken directly taken from vynil? Or did I end up with a bad copy? Vincent _________________________________________________________________ Jouw nieuws: wereldnieuws! Beleef 't op MSN.nl http://reporter.msn.nl/

good stuff...just as an aside John and myself were scratching our heads as to where the audio was taken from for this video as personally speaking it sounds very very clear, much better than any MP3s of the track i've heard previously anyway i'll probably make a wav or flac or similar at some point and put it up somewhere if there is any interest tbc. Thanks! The MP3 was taken from John Milne's Truckstop Jams collection, if I remember correctly. It was posted on a KLF Wiki, back in February or March. Anyway, I just got back from the contest. As I thought, 3 AM Eternal didn't do too well, mainly due to the fact that: A. Barely any of the kids in there are old enough to remember what the KLF was B. They screwed up the audio during the performance. Instead of playing back the video at 2 channels, they forced all the videos to play back into a single speaker channel. This sorta muffled the sound and didn't allow it to be heard the way it was intended. All in all, it ended up being one of the lowest rated music videos. However, I'm still proud of the video, mainly because it was my way of saying "Screw You" to most of the videos that were shown. A majority of them were run off of music that is commonly heard today, basically stuff like Rob Zombie, Linkin Park, etc. So to throw in something like the KLF to these kids and have it play back like it did was fun. I did notice that on the playback they did on the jumbo screen, the video felt a bit more.hmm.well, terrifying. I'm not sure how to put it, but it made me feel like "Oh my god, what the hell is this?!" I have a feeling that is what Bill and Jimmy were trying to achieve with this song, and they did it brilliantly in 1992. While I didn't fire off a machine gun into the crowd, it probably made them wonder what the hell that all was. For me right there, I believe the video accomplished its mission. Anyway, thanks for enjoying the video! I'm due to head up to the AMV panel tomorrow to discuss the videos that got nominated, so I will give a shout out to John Milne and KLF Online for helping to make that MP3 possible for the music video. _____ From: klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Simon Glass Sent: Saturday, September 01, 2007 4:36 PM To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land.
