I would probably say it's KLF92PROMO3. You're pretty sure you're not buying a fake track, there's no difficult questions about whether it exists or not, and you can tell the boot from the original easily. However, a copy sold on Ebay last week for "only" £150 ... Once you get below 20 copies, personally I think you're in slightly murky waters, but here's some more that I would say "caveat emptor" about: (5) KLF010RR - no one seems sure about whether this exists in its "KLF matrix" form, or was instead issued by MG Underground Sound only. I'm sure the only copy I've seen went for just under £200. But the remixes are pretty boring, imho, so I would say it's not worth it. (4) KLF6T. Is it real? The answer: probably not. (3) KLF010IR. I'm not very sure if this is an actual 12" or not. (2) ETERNA 1. This definitely exists, but the only copy I've seen was a backwards mastered version (someone on the list has it, iirc). And odd one, this ... worth £500 for the edit version? (1) KLF008T. Again, it's existence is very, very unsure. If you see one, of course - go for it! It's pretty much an unknown KLF track. But its complete lack of appearance of file share or bootleg in the last 15 years suggests to me that Jimmy has kept it firmly under lock and key. Then there's the Coma Records CD of "What Time is Love" (which again, may not exist; but if it does contains a track from KLF4R not available on CD anywhere else) and the 1992 remix edition of "Mu" CE EP (which I've heard at least one person claim they've seen). Also on CD is the usual suspects of JAMSCD4 and SPACECD1 (not huge rarities I know - but then all the UK KLF CDs seem in pretty steady Ebay circulation at the moment). And then the "Eternity Project One" CD compilation, which actually appears very rarely (the last copy sold on Ebay was probably mine, for around £80). The days of £920 for Pure Trance 3, though, are probably firmly in the past ... Still like to see what a KLF008T would go for, though. :)

I know a few people on here have been trying to collect the 2000 Dutch (?) vinyl bootlegs of JAMSLP1, JAMSLP3, JAMSLP5 and KLF8R.
Well, KLF8R boot is on Ebay at the moment http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/THE-KLF-REMIX-5-LAST-TRAIN-TO-TRANCENTRAL-12-BOOTLEG_W.... It's not often the seller is genuine is saying it's a bootleg (despite the fact, I suspect, the 2000 boot appears on Ebay a lot less than the 1990 original 12").
And no, I don't know the seller, but I thought it was an interesting to spot. At one point I had all four of the boots - and it was one of the most difficult (and fun) parts of by kollecting days - getting all four boots together.

Just thought i'd join in on this one, I posted the question around 010RR on the list a couple of weeks back, and nobody on the list was able to confirm the existance of 010RR in its 'matrix' form. I would like an explanation as to what MG underground is? The KSTJ promo A/B (010RR) is the same writing as 010T so is 010T MG undergruond? Answers anyone? This refers to M.G. Underground pressing of this one. It was pressed in Adrenalin (as were other Kylies) and carved in the run-out groove are both 'Adrenalin' and 'KLF-PROMO-A1/B1' and it comes in generic sleeve. This is just my guessing, but I think this is somehow related to PROMO 2 (http://www.discogs.com/release/115630, wrong b-side track), which is(?) same as 010T/P. I don't excactly know what's the story behind MG Underground, why it was released under that label but not KLF Coms. This MG release is the only version that I have ever heard anybody handled. The 'real' KLF Coms release with supposed 010RR matrix carved on runout groove still remains mystery. If anyone has other info, please tell us. -- antti l.

Just a quick reply to my own post. This MG could be related to M & G Records (http://www.discogs.com/label/M+%26+G+Records) which released some of the records from Patersons and Youths label WAU/Mr. Modo (http://www.discogs.com/label/WAU+%2F+Mr.+Modo+Records). Besides ORB releases, WAU/Mr. Modo has also released STP 23 (23! ;)), Blue Pearl - Naked In The Rain, Sun Electric and other KLF/ORB related material. I think this explanation could be long shot, but this M & G Records is related to KLF through ORB and Youth. -- antti l.

Just another note, WAU/Mr. Modo used exact same format in matrix-numbering as KLF Coms. T for actual mix and R for remix. MWS 017T and MWS 017R vs. KLF 005T and KLF 005R for example. Promos have also same kind of format. ORB PROMO 1 vs. KLF PROMO 2. This can't be just a coincidence ;) Does anyone know (or can somebody check run-out grooves) where Orb-vinyles were pressed? Was it same plant as KLF's? Adrenalin? -- antti l.

I'm not sure if you caught this detail. My copy didn't have 010RR etched in the surface but it did have Adrenalin. I didn't check to see if the handwriting matched my other Adrenalin pressings.
