Apple's propritary format...if it's an encrypted AAC (i.e. downloaded from Itunes) you pretty much have to record it (use a loop or total recorder). It's like DRM on wma files. If they're un-protected AAC files, I thought I heard that Itunes software will convert for you, but I could be wrong. jr

yeah, if it's unprotected, in iTunes, you open the preferences, change the format you want to import songs to, say, MP3 - then select the AAC track you want to convert, and in the Advanced menu, there's a Convert Selection to MP3 (or to whatever format you selecting in the preferences) and it'll create a copy of it in that format
