Jimmy cartoons was "The White Room OST" original art work?
John Milne: I remember once asking about the strange, cartoon-like lettering that appears on the back of Pure Trance sleeves saying "taken from the motion picture (cartoon writing) THE WHITE ROOM"
Simon Glass:
I have a tape of the White Room OST I got in the early 90s which has an illustration I haven't seen elsewhere...basically the 'Why Sheep' picture on the inner sleeve of the eventual commercial release of the White Room, but in a more caricature, kinda comic-drawing style which I guess would be kind of in keeping with the 'taken from the White Room OST' scrawl on the Pure Trance singles you mentioned John. It's quite a neat pic I can upload the image somewhere if there is enough interest.
Yes - would very much like to see this and any other handwritten/hand-drawn B&J material. It would be awesome to assemble an archive of scans of all of them - what else is scanned and online already? cheers
I think I've got the same cassette. Got it from Sister Ray (I think) - at one time he was knocking copies out for a fiver a go. Mine comes with a cartoon charicature of the "Why Sheep?" pose. It's buried away with all my other tapes at the moment but if I find it I'll post some photos of it.
