Don Lucknow wrote a letter to the JAMs, warning them on the effects of playing with the dark side. He also mentioned that the JAMs either will be killed or be blown away by success. His letter was reproduced in JAMSLP2, along with the ABBA threatening. Lucknow also gave an address, which wasn't any fnordic intereest, but a joke magazin's PO Box, if I rememeber right. The Bran Van guys and girls also dedicated a song to him on their first album.

another lurker here with a quick question anybody ever notice the poor sound quality of the kylie 12"? the record should have been severely de-essed.... or has anybody got a good quality non-clipping version of the extended versions? i also got the latest (i think) bootleg LP of 1987 through Forced Exposure and i'm disappointed - while it sounds like it's in stereo the quality sounds compressed, like it was mastered from an MP3. do people here trade uncompressed versions of things or do we only get to hope for cruddy mp3s? jonwhitney TURBID.COM
If memory serves, the KLF wrote back to the address at the top of the threatening letter, the Yossarian News Service or something, and the guy who replied suspected one of his colleagues had written to them and was kidding around, and the 'Don't Look Now' thing was lifted from a Marx Brothers movie tbc.
