Re: [KLF] KLF on Radio 1 Dance Anthems
Hi Winston, I checked on-line, and couldn't find a link - but then I only scratched the surface. There are many blogs/boards out there that specialise in sharing music (something Rob should maybe know too, before asking for music to be uploaded to the ftp). Searching for them can be time consuming, especially as there's no guarantee the piece of music you specifically want is out there, but just go to Google and start there: In your case, type in "Dave Pearce", or "Bank Holiday", or the date of transmission, or "Dave Pearce" and "What Time is Love" - followed by one of the following filesharing sites: "rapidshare.com", "rapidshare.de", "mediafire.com", "megaupload.com", "sendspace.com", "yousendit.com", "massmirror" etc etc. "Yousendit" only tends to have links that last a week, whereas some of the others can go on for weeks/years, depending on who the original uploader is, and how many times the link has been downloaded. If these file-sharing websites don't turn up anything, go back to Google and try "Dave Peace", "What Time is Love", and "blogspot.com". And also try various combinations of the search terms suggested in Google. Now, if you do find an interesting download, you will probably find it is a .rar file. This is like a zip file, but larger amounts of data (over 100mb) can be split into part1.rar, part2.rar, part3.rar, etc, and then extracted together again into one main file once all these "parts" have been downloaded. In order to extract .rar files, you'll need to download Winrar from their site, install it, and then right click on the .rar, and choose "Extract with winrar". The mp3 file/s should then be extracted (you'll get an info bar from 1% to 100% telling you how long the extraction has to go) and will appear in whatever folder you chose. Hope that helps! John

Hello KLF fanatics
Sorry this is sent late..... Last friday night on Dave Pearce's Dance Anthems - 23rd May 2008 KLF "What Time Is Love?" was played as part of the Bank Holiday Special. I never got to hear it as I was at Brixton Academy for Public Emeny. Not only that my PC has gone down too which doesn't help. A BIG favour to ask..... is there anyone on this fansite that manage to hear the show that can download and burn the whole 2 hour show for me please or is there a link that I can download it such as yousendit website please..... If you can email to whattimeislove@hotmail.com with any info that would be cool.... I will of course send the owner something in return.....
the website is www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/davepearce
