I spotted five new KLF bootlegs at the Barrowlands Market in Glasgow today. All seem to have been pressed by the same company, and are CDRs, made in 2003. (1) a CD of "1987" and "Who Killed The Jams" (the same cover as one I bought in 1999, but made by a different bootlegger). (2) a CD of "Waiting" (with no "Rites of Mu"). I have seen this boot on sale on ebay, and always from a Glasgow seller. (3) a CD called "The Black Room", which is actually the old "Kollection 1" CD (4) a CD called "Kollection 1", which is actually Dutton's old "Kollection 2" (5) a CD called "Kollection 2", which looks like a brand new compilation of recent mp3s (including "Love Trance" - which is described as a demo) lumped together, with a picture of Doctor Who's TARDIS on the back cover. There was also a CDR of "Orb Anthology 2" which "Brooklyn New York", etc on it. All CDs were £8.99 each. It's possible they were all bootlegged specifically for that stall in the Barrowlands Market ("the Barras" is famous in Scotland as been a source of bootlegged films and music, among many many other things) - but unfortunately I didn't have the £55 necessary to investigate further! John PS - Incidentally, thanks so much for all your kind words of condolence last week. To get such messages from people I haven't even met was genuinely moving. Thank you all.
