Alright - I'm sure some of these will make me seem totally newbie-like... and for that I apologize. I've been a fan for some time (on this list for a while, too) but have just be re-listening to my collection a lot more recently and had a few questions/thoughts etc... 1 - I know there are no shirts currently available. This makes me sad. Does anyone know if any of the "bootleg" shirts produced around these parts at any point are still available? I don't want one just done as a transfer-type thing - and was curious if there were still people here that had any. I just saw one of the old white long-sleeve ones go for $70 on eBay so figured I'd ask if anything is floating around. 2 - If there are NO shirts available... are there enough people here with enough interest that a shirt for the mailing list could be designed and printed or does that touch on rough ground and would people actually be interested? 3 - Is there a comprehensive "song-ography"? I'm not a crazy completist needing every release with duplicates of the same song... I know there are some VERY good discographies out there, but wasn't sure if there was a way to sort any of them as song-ographies so I could figure out which would be the optimal versions of singles or how many of each (ie: I don't need 3 copies of America, but needed 2 to get all the mixes and the b-side - I think [smirk]). 4 - Has there ever been torrents done of things like 1987? I have a pretty good MP3 copy (and just watched one of the fan club pressings sell for $30+ on the Bay), but figured since I'll never own an original, and the CD copies all look like their incomplete or have the weird extra 3rd track on them ANYWAYS - that a good lossless version may have been circulated. If this has (or any of the other unavailable stuff - Lost Sounds, Space etc) - can someone point me to the locale? Thanks - and sorry if this feels like an "I want free stuff" post that so often accompanies newer fans... it's not meant to be - it's a curiosity about things that may be common knowledge here, but since stuff like the old FTP seems to have disappeared and the comments about shirts are usually "print your own", searching archives for answers seems less useful than just asking here. Again - thanks all. This list, though less active than some, is pretty much always interesting... even when tangental! Cheers! Looking for a X-Mas gift? Those are the two I knew about -- is there a way to sort by song instead of release? I can't find a way on either (though I may be missing something -- the communications site seems pretty intense in its database coding)...???

Thanks - and yeah, that's the stuff (more or less) that I own or can find elsewhere -- what I was hoping for was some lossless (FLAC) torrents of stuff I *CAN'T* buy... (Space, 1987, Ultra Rare, Sounds of Mu etc)... obviously not crucial, just wondered if these had ever been tracked. Thanks anyways for the quick response... it's certainly appreciated. Thanks for that - I thought I had read the FTP went the way of the Dodo - there's a few nuggets there I'm happy to see... Thanks a heap! --- RMStringer <RMStringer1971@comcast.net> wrote:

Being the poor bastard I am, I made a few black "Divide and Kreate" t-shirts a few years ago. DIY silkscreening! http://www.sivari.fi/~quaz/tmp/divide_and_kreate.jpg -Juha

If you're after brand new vinyl copies of Space and 1987 go to Hard To Find Records http://www.htfr.com/ who will order one for you. I think they charge £15.00 each (they did when I bought my copies) On 7 Jan 2008 at 9:45, MBV Arkestra wrote:
