RE: [KLF] Wanda Dee Spam Pt. 2
Sorry for being back...I just read this question: "Anyways, would you people go and see her if she played a gig in you town?" Yes, but only if she would appear in the places she truly belongs: in The Jiggy Room of the Nudie Bar, or in the Pink Cat Cafe or in the Blue Oyster club. And if she'd appear on stage, I'd throw little pennies and cents and fillérs to her, because: "Get ready to throw only money at the bitch Cause she thinks she's so- phisticated" (Public Enemy: Sophisticated Bitch) _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses. Then use the publicity to point out she's a fraud. Have a big "ATTENTION: if you came here from Wanda Dee's site there are a few things you should know" I'm sure some of the list members will gladly provide some copy that explains the situation, without being too libellous. jon -- Bullshit makes the flowers grow & that's beautiful

i havent built a decent website in years, and havent run a webserver for a fair while also, but i'm positive there's was an easy way to redirect visitors from a particular site (ie - hers) to a particular page. cheers brendan btw - i owe a heap of ppl email. sorry. real soon now life should be semi normal. probably not next week though :(

Well if the site's dynamic (CGI, PHP, ASP or whatever TLA you like) you can check the HTTP "Referer" (note incorrect spelling) header at the start of every page, and display something different if they came via her site. Easier than being sampled and claiming you wrote something. jon -- IO ERIS IO ERIS ERIS

I see the klf.de site uses PHP, so : if ($_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] == http://theivingcows.link) { header("Location: http://www.wherever.com"); exit(); } Regards Andrew Interactive Web Solutions (Stafford)
Nice idea. So does someone want to write some text ? Or should I set up my own ? Of course there will be a "comment" option again... :-) ------ Thomas Touzimsky "Sometimes I think of letting go and never looking back and never moving forward so there would never be a past." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew McCombe" <andrew@euperia.com> To: "All bound for Mu-Mu Land." <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, May 16, 2003 5:14 PM Subject: Re: [KLF] [OT] Web visitor redirection

Java may be easier..and only the people browsing in lynx or something would still go to the page from there.. <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> <!-- Begin var refarray = new Array(); refarray['domain1.com'] = "http://www.able2know.com/pagefordomain1.htm"; refarray['domain2.com'] = "http://www.able2know.com/pagefordomain2.htm"; refarray['domain3.com'] = "http://www.able2know.com/pagefordomain3.htm"; for (var i in refarray) { if (document.referrer.indexOf(i) != -1) window.location.replace(refarray[i]); } // End --> </script> --- brendan <brendan@sputcorp.com> wrote:
