"What Time is Love Story" JAMSCD4, re-issue with sticker?
A copy of JAMSCD4 sold on eBay on 25th October for £114 (with only one bid, apparently). The packaging looks rather odd: http://thumbs3.ebaystatic.com/pict/2804116847868080_1.jpg First of all, it seems to have a large pink sticker over the top of the green "1" - and also appears to have a clear plastic inlay tray (with a green strip with white writing underneath it, through the plastic. It looks for all the world like a reissue - certainly not an original: no CDs I ever saw in 1989 had clear plastic inlay trays, and I've never seen a JAMSCD4 (just JAMSLP4s) that has a sticker. Sadly, the item is no longer clickable (eBay says it's been "removed") but if you check "completed items" and "KLF" in eBay it shows up if you filter by price. It's about halfway down the page. From the tiny thumbnail image, it looks are rather snazzy item - but it no way like the original 1989 CD. Thoughts, anyone?
Stop press: might be the same guy who sold this: http://tiny.cc/ChillOut532 (a "Chill Out" mini-disc???) On Oct 31, 2009 1:57pm, paranormalhandy@googlemail.com wrote:

If anything, wouldn't that be the "An LP For Under A Fiver?" sticker then? I can however confirm that there should be no green strip underneath the (non-existent) clear tray, so this looks suspicious. ..::// Thomas Touzimsky "Life Is Short, Eat Dessert First!" - Jaques Torres Am 31.10.2009 um 14:57 schrieb paranormalhandy@googlemail.com:

I suppose it could say "A CD for £8 - Now That's What I Call What Time is Love" ... but since it sold for £100+, that would rather ironic ... Still, it does look rather nice! If ever there was a reissue programme, I'd want it to look like that ...! On Oct 31, 2009 11:23pm, Thomas Touzimsky <tto@klf.de> wrote:

The CD that was on Ebay is NOT an original. I have a proper one didnt have a clear tray and to be honest if there had been a reissue we would of all known about it. Regards Mark
It's not like that CD would have needed a reissue anyway. The WTIL Story is remarkable for its rarity, not quality IMHO. ..::// Thomas Touzimsky "Once again, the trousers of evil are yanked down by the mocking hands of justice!" - Peter Puppy (Earthworm Jim) Am 01.11.2009 um 21:40 schrieb Mark Weston:

Is it possible it's just a replacement tray? I don't own it, so can't comment, but has anyone popped their black tray out to see if the green bit is there? Just a thought (though I lean to the bootleg theory, too). --- On Sun, 11/1/09, Mark Weston <mark.weston5@ntlworld.com> wrote:
