for my part i have an otherwise unidentified edit of WTIL from the old 'bring the beat back' bootleg CD compilation...similar to the monster attack and power remixes but >>not the same.
Oh shit, you've got one...! You are the first on this list mentioning this cd. Way back there was an advert in the RC by a little recordshop selling two KLF items; a cdr of the original white room and a cd called 'bring the beat back'. I ordered that last one but never received it. The seller told me that some cd's got mixed up in the promotors office and that he was sending me a TWR cd instead of a BTBB cd.. 'if I ever get more of this BTBB cd's, you'll be the first to receive one..' It's been a while :) What tracks are on this cd? Do they differ? I just NEED to know.. nothing new other than the aformentioned WTIL edit! it was quite nice at the time though and the first i had heard of the ME Club Mix i have the white room one also, though it didn't really improve on the cassette i recently mentioned here early cd-rs with very plain covers at £20 each...ouch though they were sent recorded delivery, my local post office *ahem* "mislaid" them down the back of a radiator...when i went to eventually collect them, the guy just smirked at me...i would've claimed some sort of compensation but was a little wary that they were obvious boots and had no real value as such. this is why the cds are damaged and don't play well on most players (for some reason my old playstation 1 plays them fine) it's possible they fried the f*ckers as a 'joke' as the package was clearly stamped 'vinyl addiction', the name of the record dealer, and perhaps the posties thought i had some sort of fetish thing going on, so the contents would melt in a hot place =) anyway i'll find the tracklist, well there wasn't one but i can work it out if i can find the damn thing... tbc.
