Sorry for not trimming the thread, but in the spirit of the old times. I realise it must be 23 years now I've been on this mailing list, since finding the wonderfully named Lazlo Nibble while I was at university, reading up on the KLF, Principia Discordia, The Illuminatus Trilogy, discovering that The JAMS were The Timelords and The KLF and more. It's been a wild time. I got some CDs from Marshall! Saw a live performance at the Barbican. Went for a few spins around the M25. Looked into the 23 Enigma 23. And more. Being on this list really made for some wonderful, unforgettable moments in life. So thanks to anyone who's contributed to it over the years. Fnord. If there is, I think it’s only available to the list admin. But not sure if there’s any admins left around? You can log into your subscriber account on the xmission site to set preferences for what emails to receive, etc. But it doesn’t tell you when your a/c was first active. I’ve changed emails about 6 times since I first joined so it probably wouldn’t work for me anyway even if it did.

Earliest email I can find is Volume 5 issue 6 of the digest, July 2003. But I've been a member longer than that. Then I have vol 22 issue 1 Dec 2004 then vol 25 issue 15 March 2005. Then from July 2013 I have a bunch of digests, I mustn't have deleted much in that period lol. Changed the registered email address from yahoo to gmail in 2015 so had to sign up again. All, Having got no response via channels to Lazlo, I've been in touch with xmission support, they reckon the archives might have been broken during an upgrade, they are going to look at it soon but it may take a few days to fully repair. But hopefully we're getting nearer a resolution now. Will let you know if I hear more. culf/Jethro. On Tue, 29 Jan 2019, Caroline Brymora wrote:

Great work!! Is it worth also asking Xmission if it’s possible to add additional admins? As much as we owe everything to Lazlo for this group, and his efforts over the years, it would be good to have an active user that can also assist with the admin of the list.

So I got this from xmission support: "Thanks for your patience on this issue. After our admins extensively investigated the mailman service and archives, they've found some interesting developments. It turns out that Lurker (the mailman archiever) is no longer functional at all after updating the server itself to be compliant. We're currently looking into alternative options, but we'll likely have to upgrade the entirety of the mailman server to newer software to truly resolve the issue with the mailman archives. Unfortunately, we do not have an ETR for that at this time, and the best that we can say is that we hope to get everything functional again before the end of the year. That's all the information we have at this time; thanks for bringing this issue with the mailman archives to our attention." Which sounds to me like: 1. There are no archives available now from at least the point after the upgrade happened. 2. No archives into the future until they do their upgrade 3. I am not sure what this means for archives for before the upgrade. 4. It probably affects all lists on their server to some degree. On Tue, 26 Mar 2019, Len Goody via KLF wrote:
