The Sisters were a great band. It's a pity that they don't release anything nowadays. (TimeWarner arguments, etc.) Does anybody have their last excuse of an album, "Go Figure"? It wasn't released and it's not under the SOM moniker it had something long and silly name. But the title was Go Figure anyhow. I'm looking forward for that Pink Floyd cover and the Dominion video. If I'll ever have a proper mp3-encoder I can give a half-hour interview with Eldritch from my radio promo of "I was Wrong" plus some live tracks from the "When You Don't See Me" maxi CD. If You're interested. "Alice" and "Burn" are great great tracks.
No, hence the OT in the subject....just something neat to listen to.

Hi
Is there a KLF link here? Not being pedantic, just interested.

I just got a copy of the Sisters Of Mercy cover of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb. I have put it in a folder in the KLF FTP site. For those interested, I also have about 4 videos and I am in the process of getting several more.

The act was called "Screw shareholder value", Googling for that resutls a lot of information. It used to be quite widely mirrored around web some four years ago, but I didn't bother too look up if the sites are still up. (Point being that no SOM-fan should buy the album.) I have the mp3's, if somebody is interested. It's somewhat sad that SOM has gone into just releasing "best of the greatest hits"-collections these days, but at least they play a concert or two every year, making it possible to catch them live somewhere. (Saw them in Roskilde 1998 myself.) Hmpf, talking about old goth acts at KLF-mailing list, how offtopic can you get?
I got an album called "Exit" that is a "new Sisters" Album I have no track listing for the album, IF you would like, I will place it in the Sisters folder in the KLF Site? The Sisters story is far more complex than that. They got an appalling treatment at the hands of their US record company in 91 and Eldritch waited for his contract to expire, which it did in 97. They're now asking big money which they're not going to get and won't sign to an indie. Shame. Their new stuff is stonking.
