There was a page where you could see the pieces of the picture that have been sold. Anyone know the address? "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." Despair INC. DONALD D GAGEN MAILTO:DGAGEN@ENSEMBLESTUDIOS.COM ENSEMBLE STUDIOS http://www.ensemblestudios.com
Hi, I'm looking for the original source that The KLF (and various other remixers of that time) used in the so-called "Primal Megamix", a mix you can find on many ftp servers. The sample itself goes like "Come on y'all, let's rock ya, rock ya" Any clues? It's been pretty famous on acid house records of the late 80s... Cheers, Dan --- a.k.a. Kuta, KLF Online (www.klf.de)

I know Double trouble and the Rebel MC used it on Just keep rockin but god knows where the original comes from. Perhaps a peek at reggae history may point you in the right direction. Please let me know what the original is, or it's gonna bug me forever. Regards, JEZ.

After listening to the "primal megamix" again ( Which by the way is a bag of shit )_ The sample used is lifted directly from Double trouble and the rebel MC's track Just keep rockin. ( The mix in question appears on a double 12" pack called 21 mixes, which covered all the versions of Just keep rockin & Street tuff ) Dan, hope this sorts things out for you. Cheers fella, JEZ.
Hey Jez! Thanks a lot man. That's probably what I have been looking for. Never heard the track tho, maybe that explains why I didn't recognize the sample... ;) I'll just have a look on eBay. Maybe there's a nice copy somewhere. And thanks again. That's why I love this list! Lots of greats guys who know a lot about great music! Cheers, Dan --- a.k.a. Kuta, KLF Online (www.klf.de)
