It's 7:40 AM my time and just awoke to 21 happy, shiny, messages from the list! That has never, ever happened!!! The best part is everyone is excited and there's no chimpanze-like feces flinging either. If I could, I would get in my car, drive to each of your houses with a dozen roses, shake each and every one of your hands, then give you a giant Ed McMahon Publishers Clearing House type cheque! As promised to a list member, after a cup of coffee, I'm going to go through my nine different rips of Magrugda club mix and up the best rip. Then a little later one (or even two) more JAMs classics. "I'm as happy as a litttle girl!" Dan
Hello all - I am sure I have NOTHING to share - I have some of the more common rarities, but only on CD, and I'm sure the nice, shiny, vinyl rips will kick the crap outta those... BUT, I wanted to take a second to say "thanks" for all of this. I really appreciate the time and energy spent by those who are passing this stuff along. As a longtime fan, I`ve never seen this list as a "sharing" list, per se (which is not to say people here don't share) - it has always seemed more about information and discussion - which, as a slight lurky-type, has been great to read and follow. That being said, having everyone chip in to make a freely available archive of lossless stuff is awesome. As for how it will be distributed after it`s all been posted - one of the easiest ways (and safest) may be to ask those of us who can`t contribute (because we don`t have anything) to post copies on DVD to people who come a little late to the party. Using the master list, we can ensure we have everything - some links can be re-posted - but I know I, for one, would be happy to send out some copies when all is said and done to those who don`t grab everything the first time around. Doesn`t necessarily help with the missing pieces (which may well happen as links die etc) - but eventually some 'full sets' will exist and could be passed around... just a thought. Regardless - thanks all - it is most definitely appreciated. - Scott
The whole point is for those of us who have, whether by luck, work, or money, to share with those who don't. A lot of this stuff was purposefully released in limited editions making the tracks hard to find in the pre-Internet days. If you could compile these tracks on DVD-R and mail them out that would be a HUGE contribution! Dan On Sat, Aug 27, 2011 at 8:10 AM, S Arnold <negative8ball@yahoo.com> wrote:

Hi all, I'll try to kollekt all the stuff being shared these days. I have a NAS-disk with FTP on it. I'll try to set a KLF-folder on it and provide login to list-members. I realize that sharing PVC-stuff is controversial, to put it midly, - so I will not share that, unless PVC explicitly allows me to. GREAT initiative. Thanks. Because he's gone to so much time and effort, is a great guy and friend, and as others have observed is a wizard at uncovering unreleased KLF stuff, I feel he at least should be included in the conversation before we start spreading the fruits of his labor around. Don't have a problem sharing the B&J stuff because: 1. They were the Kopyright Liberation Front after all. At least initially their recordings were built on outright theft and plagiarism 2. They deleted their entire catalog 3. They have moved-on and just don't seem to care. In fact, they probably think we're really, really sad for even talking about them let alone sharing their old recordings! I live in the US, but a DVD shouldn't cost too much to send to post. Email me off list at danthutchins@gmail and I'll provide my home address and up whatever you send me. Dan On Aug 27, 2011, at 7:38 PM, Theritesofmu <theritesofmu@aol.com> wrote:
