Recovered & Remastered Tribute
Hi As some of you may or may not know the people who create the recovered and remastered series have been forced to stop selling their items, digitally and physically. I know many did not like the series in the first place because of the plain fact it was ripping off the KLF and to be honest I don't blame you. However for me personally it felt great to have some of the rarities on a CD and properly remastered and it was the recovered and remastered series that brought my obsession with the KLF back to life (plus this mailing list of course!). And I don't think many will disagree that the live from the lost continent CD was truly amazing and makes the entire series a million times better. But in true KLF style it all ended in it being deleted. R.I.P.

Well, I clearly get your point but in my eyes it's something completely different and you cannot compare both cases at all. The KLF took bits and pieces from other records, re-using them for their own ideas and combined them with their original music. Selling bootlegs has got nothing to do with this. Not one bit. In regards to who may have ordered the shutdown of Minus-6, my guess is that it is probably Sony Records. On my Youtube account I host a copy of the "Justified and Ancient (Stand by the JAMs) MV. Soon after uploading that video, Sony issued ownership rights, and thus takes all ad revenue that YT puts out for the video. Seeing how Sony owns Arista Records, my guess is that Sony may have exercised their distribution rights, and ordered a cease and desist on future sales of the Recovered and Remastered set. However for me personally it felt great to have some of the rarities on a CD and properly remastered and it was the recovered and remastered
series that brought my obsession with the KLF back to life (plus this mailing list of course!). And I don't think many will disagree that the live from the lost continent CD was truly amazing and makes the entire series a million times better. But in true KLF style it all ended in it being deleted. R.I.P.
