WGU 18G was the original Ford Timelord plate - WGU 18E is pretty bloody close! --- On Wed, 11/17/10, Michiel Pronk (webmail) <michiel@moonstorm.nl> wrote:

Yes, WGU 18G is owned by someone, but not registered to any car as far as I can tell, so not for sale through the usual channels. The nearest available was WGU 18E. I rang a whole host of companies that sell personal plates, and drew a blank until I came to the DVLA, not sure why I didn't contact them first. They have a totally different approach to selling plates. You register your interest, and then it goes to auction. The whole process, from registering my interest to final bid took about 3 months, so it's a good job I didn't wait for the car to arrive before doing it. I can't really decide if it's a frivolous waste of money, or true dedication in the quest to create a replica as close to the original as I can. -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of S Arnold Sent: 17 November 2010 21:16 To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. What about KLF 003T for the number plate, or get one made up and put it in the rear window. -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of S Arnold Sent: 17 November 2010 21:16 To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. It's a nice idea, but even if this plate was available, it couldn't be put on a 1968 car as it would indicate it was manufactured in 1978, which is against the rules. It has to have an old configuration number plate, with either a G at the end or any letter prior to G, hence the E. -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Elliott Sent: 18 November 2010 22:34 To: 'All bound for Mu-Mu Land.' I think it would look cool in the back window though, just as a little touch or even written around the tyres just like a run-out groove :o) -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Ross Jarvis Sent: 19 November 2010 12:57 To: 'All bound for Mu-Mu Land.'
