The problem with a DVD release would be all those doing their own copies of the DVD, trying to sell them on eBay for ridiculous prices... it already happens now. ..::// Thomas

How about a short banner with something along the lines of "NOT FOR RESALE - BY FANS, FOR FANS, FOR FREE" scrolling across the bottom of the screen before each possible video. A tad annoying, but even more annoying for anyone who'd want to profit from reselling the DVDs as he'd either have to completely recut the DVD or be labeled as a scammer. Of coures, there are other viable alternatives to an annoying scroller, that was just the first example that popped into my mind. IMHO, making the whole project public enough after it's finished might give it somewhat good placement on Google's pagerank, which in turn could translate to less scammers on ebay. Pink Floyd fans do something similar - their DVD's are normally marked for free trade only, not to be sold. They are distributed by physically weeding (e.g. receive a copy and send out 2 or 3 more), or virtually by seeding torrents. These methods mean that nobody actually really pays for anything. You can't really stop people selling this stuff on eBay - that's just a fact of life - but they usually get stopped by somebody. -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces+simon=antmusic.fsnet.co.uk@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+simon=antmusic.fsnet.co.uk@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Juha Ekholm Sent: 21 June 2007 17:24 To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land.
