No...actually it's got nothing to with netiquette (what a terribly bourgeois concept invented when the web was full of fifty something white haired white males with Viagramobiles) and everything to do with usability. In Yahoo's list form it's much easier to navigate. But then I'm a big subscriber to Nielsen's usability theories. The other thing is that because UNIX can distinguish between upper and lower case, it's a quick way to make use of scripting. But don't ask me, I'm only the pianoroll.
