Re: [KLF] Question...this is a tough one
In the "Rites of Mu" track I'm interested in knowing what language the singer is singing in in the first part of the track -- Vietnamese? it sounds like it might be from that part of the world.
Is it just the Tuvan throat singers as also used on Chill Out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_of_Tuva The only Vietnamese I was aware of was: Duy Khiem, Vietnamese clarinetist, and old friend of Drummond was one of the musicians on 'The Man'. He plays clarinet on 1987, and 3am, and pops up in the video (stadium) and TOTP appearance in traditional costume during the clarinet solo. He sings the traditional Vietnamese song 'Me Ru Con' which appears on 1987. Otherwise, pass. cheers -- This is the webmail account of Stuart Young, Michelle Ardern & Felix Ardern-Young (4) 16, Seacombe Rd, Pt Chev, Auckland, NZ Phone: +64 (0)9 849 9020 say.map@ihug.co.nz Photography, Graphic and Web design, Web development and hosting: http://www.pixelandgrain.co.nz/ Stuey's personal website - a cobweb site: http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~stuey/
