1. The rumoured KLF reunion in 2007: is it 4 real, and if that's so, where should one sign up?ű
where did you hear this rumour - inyourwildestdreams.com?
I think it was discussed/fantasized about on the list some time ago - how nice it would be for a boxed set or rarities collection, etc. Sometimes these things turn into rumor. -paul

i suppose it's also highly unlikely that some KLF fan would start said rumour as a prank. can you imagine? hardly! ;) -- micah stupak micah@benthic.cc www.benthic.cc benthic recordings - soundings from unexplored places oblique strategy: remember those quiet evenings

I'm sure many people on the list know about this German band, but I just got into them (after YEARS of searching -actually I've never seen their CD's in Hungary). So this is for tor the open-minded: please give ANY of CAN's material a listen. You won't be disappointed. These people were real sound innovators. Words can't describe their compositions. _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! RIP? uhh, where did you hear this? certainly news to me...google shows nothing. this would be a real heartbreaker if it were true, as jaki has always been my favourite drummer. -- micah stupak micah@benthic.cc www.benthic.cc benthic recordings - soundings from unexplored places oblique strategy: don't be frightened to display your talents

On the occasion of their comeback KLF 'To Burn Five Pounds'! In a spectacular act of Dadaist, nihilist, art terrorist pop art, KLF have announced that hey are going to burn a whole five pound note. In a similar gesture a few years ago, the KLF burnt a million pounds. Says Jimmy Cauty: "This isn't quite the scale we'd previously worked on, but you have to understand, burning money costs money. Do you know how much it cost to burn a million pounds? Go on, have a guess. Well, I'll tell you. A million pounds." Bill Drummond adds: "This gesture will speak volumes about the nature of money and the interface between art and commerce and - er -well - oh, all right, this is our last fiver and we're going to burn it. No, not to get attention, that's the last thing we'd ever want to do. In fact, come to think of it, we're not going to so much burn it as singe it a bit around the edges. That way it'll be still legal tender down at the Happy Shopper. Well, have you seen the price of bulk fish fingers these days?"
