Online music mag Slant compiled a list of the 25 most important electronic albums of all time (well, the last 25 years to be precise). Listed among what is without doubt the masterclass of a genre - with Brian Eno, The Chemical Brothers and Leftfield - is the KLF's "The White Room" album. "[...] Call it what you will (Acid House, Stadium House, Rave), the album was pure dance-pop at its finest. Hits like "What Time Is Love" and "3 A.M. Eternal" kept the pair riding high on the charts while the single "Justified And Ancient" turned Tammy Wynette, "The First Lady of Country," into a post-disco club diva.[...]" Now it's your turn to chose. Massive Attack: Blue Lines (or Mezzanine) Fatboy Slim: Beat Up The NME (free mix tape on the NME) Underworld: Second Toughest in the Infants Too Many DJs (a mix album) Aphex Twin: Richard D James Album Tricky: Maxinquaye ...could keep going... ...but sadly, no KLF greatest album (but definitely in the top 3 electronic-type tunes)

Pretty much wholeheartedly agree with the Slant's list! (http://www.slantmagazine.com/music/features/2520electronicalbums.html) But I'd personally like to add the following as some of my faves (no particular order): Boards Of Canada - Twoim (just been rereleased!) The KLF - Chill Out NERD - In Search Of... (The original Red release, not the rerecorded version) Radiohead - Kid A Orbital - Insides Mastercuts - Classic House Vol 1 (ok, a compilation, but still some cracking tunes) Daft Punk - Discovery Lemon Jelly - KY High Contrast - True Colours Arthur Baker - Breakin' (Perfecto Compilation) All good.
