I have asked this question several times. Some people bitch and say that I never contribute to the list, but when I try to ask a question about a song that is KLF related, I GET NO ANSWER. WTF?? Will SOMEONE look at that track and tell me who the artist is? I am still interested in getting an answer to this question. Thankx once again. I found this track in the KLF folder on my server. I didn't upload the file, nor can I connect to your ftp to download it, but Stay Another Day was an old East 17 single. _____ From: klf-bounces+shilo101=comcast.net@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+shilo101=comcast.net@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of RMStringer Sent: Saturday, October 01, 2005 8:27 PM To: 'All bound for Mu-Mu Land.' Many of us don't have ftp access right now, many more seem to be having problems connecting so perhaps if you could describe how this track sounds we can help from the description or will be more inclined to download it? Does it sound KLF-related? Is it the same 'style'? Perhaps it is KLF but with the wrong ID3 tag, or perhaps it is indeed E17 (boy band, sample lyric "baby if you've got to go away" or similar) in which case you can safely delete! If it does indeed sound like a KLF-related unknown track then of course we will all be interested, and will no doubt discuss accordingly. If it sounds nothing like the KLF but you just like the sound of it, some might see this as another off-topic personal request and not really be inclined to reply Many of us ask questions on here that remain unanswered, but we rarely react in such an outraged manner ;-) tbc. I can feel almost cretin that it is E17. IT is about8 mins long with a very nice intro. Very lush and the intro there are sea gulls on it. It even has some of the Chill out sounds in the intro as well. All that it says is stay now, stay another day. That is it through the entire song. Also a heart beat with a nice piano . I really like it. Someone placed it into the KLF folder for a reason. Definitely East 17 for me... not that I am THE E17 expert, but the chorus should be "Stay another day" for sure. If it is track #3, it's possibly the "even more SAD mix". I feel dirty now. ..::// Thomas
Although E17 were generally appalling, I happen to think that was actually a very good record, one of few 'Christmas' songs I find myself humming to when feeling festive. Everything else they did was utter sh*t though "pop slut" tbc.
