Having seen some klf items go for crazy prices on ebay recently what price would any of the list members reasonably think acceptable if 004M turned up. We all dream of getting our hands on one of these, but realistically how deep into our pockets could anybody really afford to go, and what would be the most valuable klf collectable be?
These are always the questions I love to hear but am afraid to ask.....! Has anyone actually heard this track? -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Tim Tim Sent: 28 February 2012 21:54 To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. I consider myself quite hardcore collector, but still I wouldn't pay more than 250£ for any of the "holy grails". Unfortunately, there is always somebody who is willingly to pay +1000£ as we have seen. I of course understand that rarity comes with the price, but still, paying 4 figures for a record is crazy. Is it confirmed that 004M is the same track as b-side of 006T? If not, where has 006T-B come from? -- anttil.
If 004M did ever turn up, it may be unplayable, the discography says 3x acetates, acetates are generally good for a couple of plays, then they deteriorate. One would assume that B&J have one each. So the chances of the one remaining acetate turning up are unlikely [whoever owns it]. ----- Original Message ----- From: Antti Lavio <antti.lavio@possu.org> To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Cc: Sent: Wednesday, 29 February 2012, 5:55 Subject: Re: [KLF] What Price 004M?
