Re: Re: RE: [KLF] What's in a name?
How Soon Is Now? was originally the B side to William, It Was Really Nothing and was released as an A side after reaching #1 in John Peel's Festive 50!
/Smiths nerd
And it's allegedly about Associates vocalist Billy MacKenzie. Smiths nerd 2. ;-)
Personally I can't see much of a link to HSIN?
I meant the titles sound similar, in that they are questions that can't be answered, and both seem to be about searching for love. And, I suppose, the music of both is pretty shimmering and wonderful (and no one has even managed to match their respective sounds since).
but I
always thought of WTIL? when I heard What Is Love? I forget who it was by - some early nineties europap
That would be Haddaway. As in, Haddaway and shite, as they say in Newcastle.

Haddaway rings a bell! Could WTIL? refer to the 'Summer of Love'? In '88 that would have been now, but How Soon Is Now??? :-) Chris --- John Milne <john@highlandland.fsnet.co.uk> wrote:
