this just in at boomkat (there's a sound clip too): THE ORB / JIMMY CAUTY / MICHAEL MAYER Masterblaster / X Kompakt Extra 12" // £ 5.99 http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?merchID=12648 Schaffel has become a viral strain, infecting the english pop charts notably last year courtesy of Rachel Stevens, Gareth even Kylie. Alex Patterson is asked back for a rematch after good beahaviour on 2003's 'Kompassion' and he decides to crash the party, asking if his friend Jimmy Cauty from [w]hoary old pop refugees KLF can also attend. Together they fashion a teched up homage to their Cologne heroes, 'masterblaster' is quintessential cologne material, the same seesaw electronic rockers rhythm predominating just the way Bo Diddley imagined it nearly 50 years ago. One of 2004's leading contenders in the Most Eligible Male With All His Own Hair category, Michael Mayer represents for the home team on the flip in good style. The Kompakt net is cast even further, snaring all before it. Hard to imagine this not being massive - what next...Adamski vs Reinhard Voigt? -- ___________________________________________________________ Sign-up for Ads Free at Mail.com http://promo.mail.com/adsfreejump.htm

Am I wrong, or is the tracklist: A: The Orb (incl. cauty): Masterblaster B: Michael Mayer: X The track you kan listen to at boomkat is "X", but is MasterBlaster the track that klf.de once had a clip from (the one with a asmple from "A huge evergrowing bla bla bla")??
We had the mix by Thomas Fehlmann - sounded alot like Leftfield's 6/8 War. ..::// Thomas Touzimsky -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: klf-bounces+thomas=klf.de@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+thomas=klf.de@mailman.xmission.com] Im Auftrag von Ulrik Brandt Gesendet: Samstag, 17. Yup, same mix, as Masterblaster = From A Distance (Masterblaster Mix remixed by Thomas Fehlmann). Has basically got bugger all to do with From A Distance, as Thomas Fehlmann seems to have made a brand new track with it, albeit with a couple of samples of Huge Ever Growing... within it. Also released on the b-side of the UK 12" promo of "From A Distance" and on the German compilation CD "Oceanclub For China". L8rs, Nick ;-)
