Hi everyone, I thought the list had gone a little quite of late so I thought this would be a good time to make an announcement. I'm in the final stages of writing a book about The KLF. I've conducted extensive interviews with Bill and Jimmy themselves. In addition, I've interviewed Tony Thorpe, Ricardo Da Force, Mick Houghton, Black Steel, Dr. Alex Patterson, some residents of Jura, Jonathan King, Pete Waterman, Pete Robinson, John Sinclair (manager of the MC5), David Franks (their lawyer), the MCPS and others. I've also talked to various characters who are keeping the KLF flame burning in their own ways, people like Mark Osymyso, Scooter, Robert from Austria's Sabotage organisation, Paul Plampfer who staged a play based on The Manual, some New Zealand fans who claim to have found the Lost Continent etc. There are obviously plenty of others who it would be great to talk to and I'm hoping to track them down. I feel it is important to give the list the opportunity to contribute something to this publication in some way. As yet I'm unsure about how to do it. One idea I've had would be to post a series of questions to the list and kick start some themed discussions. But there might be better approaches so any advice on this would be appreciated. Of course, the list might not want to get involved and that's cool too. Anyhow, I look forward to hearing your responses. Angus
