Following on from a previous post of what we would like to see discovered or reappear- E-Train to Trancentral Go to Sleep remixes Turn up the Strobe (if it exists) finished Black Room tracks I would also like to add- Whitney Joins the Jams video * original Space album with Alex from the Orb White room movie with original 1989 soundtrack * flamenco version of 3AM ( although After the Love eternal edit does contain some flamenco style guitar-could this be that version?) other Snub TV documentary as seen in a snippet in the Omnibus documentary * Has anyone got anything else to add or could help with the * items?
There was a single version of "No More Tears" they were working on recording right around the time they pulled the plug that would be interesting to hear, but I don't think they ever finished. Also, there was a rumor that several versions of the Black Room were recorded, they would change their mind on musical direction, scrap the sessions, then start again, so any of those demos or early versions would be interesting. I hadn't thought about the Go To Sleep mixes, but now that you mention it it makes sense those would exist as they were proposed for the Pure Trance series at one point and I also think the track was considered as a single off TWROST before that whole thing was aborted. In terms of E-Train, I have a suspicion that one of the versions released on the Last Train Pure Trance 12" was indeed the finished E-Train, but have nothing to back-up this hunch. Over the years one or two list members have reported seeing a pressed copy of E-Train in a sleeve with sea-green lettering, but I don't think any actually heard the record itself. Now that Tim's gigantic find of unreleased stuff has come to an end, I have a feeling we're through seeing previously unknown/unreleased things surface. Truth be told, I've always had a fantasy that some lurking list member would offer to sell me something previously rumored or unknown for a fairly large sum just so I could have the satisfaction of sharing it with the list for free. A few years ago a list member uploaded a high-quality WAV of the extended Lover's Side, which had only ever circulated as a mega-crap MP3 previously and I thought that was the greatest, most altruistic gesture ever. It give me a warm, happy glow to bring something big to my fellow enthusiasts. Dan On Jul 27, 2013, at 4:41 AM, "lee-m6@sky.com" <lee-m6@sky.com> wrote:

There is that french promo CD with a radio edit that is properly edited and not just one of the longer versions faded out after 3+ minutes... - Thomas
Yes, there is that proper French radio edit. But I also recall reading they were working with a female voice choir on a newer updated version in the late winter/early spring of 92 concurrent with the Black Room sessions. This was right around the time Bill started to lose it, being excited by the prospects of all they were doing one moment and suffering from bouts of despair the next. In Bad Wisdom Bill talks about a new version of Make It Rain, resembling The Weather Girls "Raining Men".This must have been done in the same period as the ENT-Black Room Session. I've never heard about this "No More Tears"-version before. You're absolutely right, I was thinking of "Make It Rain" and not "No More Tears." Sorry, my mistake. Dan On Jul 27, 2013, at 11:20 AM, Ulrik Brandt <onkelgerhardt@hotmail.com> wrote:

As far as I remember that version was mentioned in one of the middle-era communication sheets and was meant as a Christmas ('89?) single. It would certainly fit the description of the TWROST version that features a choir that is absent from the 1991 version. I will see if I can find the right info sheet tomorrow or on Monday. - Thomas
With regards to Positive Voids skip releases, Tim mentioned that 3am London by Night was the last of the complete tracks discovered when helping Jimmy move house. But what else was on the tapes? Did they also feature incomplete tracks, samples etc that would be of interest, historically significant and worth releasing on a cd with another t shirt? Does anyone think B&J would consider us uncovering and sharing all of these lost treasures 20 years after they called it a day part of the art? It is for me and I would like to think they leak some of these things themselves as "part of the art." They probably just think we're tossers who are living in the past though. While this isn't the one everybody is searching for... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24097519/Gui%20Borrato%20vs.%20Space%20-... It's what I imagine SPACE would sound if it was released today. I haven't done too much editing, so some bits and pieces should probably be a little louder. Maybe one day I will add the final 10%. Enjoy! - Thomas
This is great.Go add the final 10 % NOW (maybe some Bobby n' Betty Samples ???), and then make "E-Train from Touzimsky". Ulrik Brandt
