KSTJ, WTIL Story, and UK Chill Out were pretty hard to find. I still don’ t have a copy of Eternity Project One on CD, and I’ve only seen about 2 or 3 of these turn up for sale.
I'm hardly an authoritative person to get respectable input on this matter but for my two bits: I proudly own the first three, so they can't possibly be that rare! :) KSTJ I don't think I've ever seen come up for sale except for the one time when I bought it. WTILS shows up on ebay from time to time, just keep looking, as does Eternity on CD but it's too rich for me. Based solely on stuff I've seen or haven't seen come up for sale (and again these are for proper commercial releases), I'd say some of the rarest are the Disco 2000 cd single for Uptight, the french (i think it was) cd single for TARDIS which has all six mixes (but it sounds crap so don't waste your time), and the OZ History of the JAMs. I searched for that particular one for YEARS and finally scored one. -paul
Yeah, and it also depends on whether you want to distinguish between official and unofficial releases I guess... KSTJ does show up quite often, but how about the WTIL 'Power Remix' CDS? I see it floating around the German eBay site a few times, although always at a massively inflated price. Then, of course, there's K Cera Cera and the OZ/Liberation WTIL 'Wicker Man' CDS as well... I own a copy of both the UK Chill Out and the Euro one (CD89005), along with mint unbleamished Shag Times and WTIL Story on CD and I'm sure I've got Eternity Project One somewhere but it's not in the usual place so maybe not... Personally, I'd go for any Disco 2000 CDS myself... -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of TheMgnt@aol.com Sent: 19 September 2005 19:34 To: klf@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [KLF] Rarest CD?

MessageI have most of the CD's you mentioned, but damn! I just can't put my hands on the Disco 2000 Uptight CD5! sadly, my Shag Tmes CD died and I leave my WTILS and KSTJ cds in the original case - I know I'll regret it one day but I'm too much of a fuckin' lazy ass. I feel that my rarest KLF CD's are acutally the WTILS and the two japanish CD3's of WTIL and J&A which are joy to look at. Btw: I have the Timelords CD5 (KLF 093) with the six versions, but it's on the indisc label same as the Disco 2000 CD5, I dont remember indisc being french. another thing, the WTIL 'Wicker Man' CD5 is a great item to own, definatly the best lookin' WTIL CD5 I'm tired so I probably made a lot of mistakes and I didn't check the discography, zZzzz zZ... ----- Original Message ----- From: Chris Peel To: 'All bound for Mu-Mu Land.' I had no idea that the Uptight CD is THAT rare. I seem to be one lucky guy as I own it. I don´t plan to sell it anytime soon but just out of curiousity? How much might it be worth? -- 5 GB Mailbox, 50 FreeSMS http://www.gmx.net/de/go/promail +++ GMX - die erste Adresse für Mail, Message, More +++
I agree that the Oz 'Wicker Man' CDS is one of the prettiest KLF items to look at (was the 12" the same design?) though I will always have a soft spot for the dayglo minimalism of the Pure Trance series Can anyone remind me which version of WTIL has B & J thrashing sitars on the sleeve, and which LTTT has a photo of a train? (a still from the video i guess)...though I decided a while back that many rarities just aren't practical for me to buy, I figure I might look for some of the more interesting different sleeves if they are affordable. I'm guessing those would be around GBP15.00? Also was it a US 12" of WTIL that originally featured A:WTIL on the flip, or am i imagining things again? Back in the day loads of these imports could be seen, many at the same time, in Bristol branch of HMV, kinda buried in the 12" section along with the various differently-coloured 12" maxi singles of Depeche Mode's 'Enjoy the Silence'...shoulda snapped the all up =/ David A <b0red@bezeqint.net> wrote: I have most of the CD's you mentioned, but damn! Thanx Winston and others, mostly clears things up for me but Thomas you say the Wicker Man pic was on a US 12" of America WTIL? Is this the 12" I mentioned in the second part of my question, that I was sure America WTIL came out in, erm, America some time before the Europe/Worldwide release? I'm sure I remember it being mentioned in kinda reverential tones some months before i saw the video on TV and the 12"/CD on the shelves here. And if memory serves, the America mix was on the flip of this older 12", not the A-side mix... Perhaps I should just check the discog....doh! tbc. winston cousier <whattimeislove@hotmail.com> wrote: What Time Is Love?
