Hello List, is the "Disco 2000" book worth picking up if you already got "45" including Bill's story "Let's Grind"? Since I celebrated my birthday this monday (and none of you sent me his greetings but one - shame on you others! ;-) ) I thought about closing some gaps in my book shelf, but then again, Wild Highway and Bad Wisdom would be better to pick up at the moment I guess. What do you think about the other stories in "Disco 2000"? ..::// Thomas Touzimsky And the Lord said unto John, "Come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.
Hello Since I celebrated my birthday
this monday (and none of you sent me his greetings but one - shame on you others! ;-) )
1. I didn't know it was Your birthday, is there a date up on klf.de to find out? 2. What is the Disco 2000 book? 3. As it was in that Orb track: "Happy birthday to You, happy birthday to You, happy birthday, Mr. President, happy birthday to You"... _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! they are okay some are a bit weird - some aren't very good - some are good - and one or two are very good if you've got the money to spare and are seriously interested in it, you probably won't be disapointed if you were only gonna buy it for the Drummond story and the fact that the books title is Disco 2000, then it isn't worth it, especially if you've already got 45 but if you like reading short stories, and you've nothing better to read at the time, it's an interesting collection
Hi, has someone ever noticed that if you exchange the first two letters of both words, "Black Smoke" becomes "Smack Bloke"? :-) Cheers, Dan

What? You don't have Bad Wisdom? Shame, shame on you ;)

I like some of 'em, but then I'm a big fan of Grant Morrison and some of the other authors. The album of Disco 2000 was pretty cool, had a good alabama3 track, one by grant morrison and some other exclusives. Oh, and some minors shouting about fukcing the minnellium. IIRC I preferred the Disco 2000 book to Disco Biscuits (Sarah Champion's previous, similar, anthology) It's not worth it _just_ for the Drummond story IMHO, but you might like the other ones.
And the Lord said unto John, "Come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.
hehe - like it jon -- "It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothes. But the half-wit remains a half-wit, and the emperor remains an emperor." - Neil Gaiman
Hi again, has anyone here seen the new Herbie movie? I haven't yet and I'm wondering if Jimmy's reworking of the title theme actually appears IN the film and not only during the end credits or something like that... Thanks, Dan

speaking of Grant Morrison, Shining Knight #4 was fucking great this week
I'm a part-timer and wait for the trade paperbacks ... and I call myself a big fan! Half his stuff won't make it to the graphic novel re-issues. But then since me ma threw out all my "spiderman & zoids" before I even knew why I liked the story so much I guess I'm bound to miss out! jon -- No sig today
