God knows I've researched this topic to death, and forgotten most of it by now, but the rumour was that Ford Timelord originally featured in Superman III, some of which was filmed in Buckinghamshire in the UK, the base of the KLF. I've had a quick watch of Superman III but cannot find the car in question - anyone else have any luck? I found this interesting image which featured in the Police Squad! I think this was part of the official PR, not a rumour - and thus perhaps more likely to be untrue!
