Exactly, that was the point all along. Anybody who gets into musics does it partialy for money and success but also because they enjoy the process. Anyone who says they dont want success (Cobain, Vedder, Allin etc) is lying and are probably rich kids from the middle classes who can be weird or avant garde and not have to care. Notice that when Vedder became famous, he did'nt burn all the money become a recluse and say fuck you to his fans, he just carried on. If it bothered you that much you would just throw it all away like Bill & Jimmy did. Andrew wrote: I feel that Bill and Jimmy were almost the opposite of this. They so badly wanted chart success that they worked and worked at it until they got it. Hence the 'Stadium House' trilogy. WTIL: Pure Trance was an underground hit and brought their names to a new area of 'fans/interested people' that may not have heard of their previous work as the JAMMS ( I was one of that new crowd). Yet they continued. 3AM, Kylie Said - the proposed 'one single a week, for 5 weeks, called the Pure Trance Series' set. All are evidence of Drummond/Cauty trying desperately to have some chart success somewhere along the line. It all failed and until they did the 3rd incarnation of WTIL, the Live at Trancentral mix did they get chart success. How does this tie in with this thread? Is there any law that states you have to be authentic OR credable when it comes to music?? Can't you just do it cause you want to, and stop when you don't??? Andrew
