I was hoping someone could clarify a few questions I've had about Trancentral for quite a few years ... (a) Is the Trancentral featured in the Dutton video, the interview from brandnew.co.uk, the KSTJ video (Bill walks down the steps in front of it), and the short snippet from the Omnibus 1995 show (where you can see the word "Trancentral" written on the wall), one and the same place? Or did Jimmy move Trancentral around with him as he got more successful? (b) What's the difference between "the Benio" and Trancentral? (c) Was it really a squat where all the stragglers of London dance culture used to pop in and out in various state of chemical fry, or is that just a myth? (d) Is it just the studio, or is it a flat/squat/apartment, or what, exactly? and (e) I have a track by the Levellers called "Belarus (Live at Trancentral)" and yet Bill and Jimmy are not mentioned on the sleeve (the single came out in 1993). Does this have a KLF connection, or is it just a reference? Thanks, John Not Scots, just Scott-ish
