Re: [KLF] scooter talks about the klf in an interview :P
Here's the key J&A (...)but the plan and the key to enter in the mu mu (...)
And this one!!
TOTP: Can you explain this line: "We're not the monkeys, but we've got the key"? HP: Ah, ya! [He seems positive on this meaning]. This means that, er, we are not the monkeys, but we have the key! [laughs]
TOTP: Where does: "Respect to the man in the ice cream van" come from? HP: This is a shout out to the KLF. They once had a lyric: "They're justified and they're ancient and they drive an icecream van." We're just saying hello to them!

are there instrumental versions of their tracks? i mean, i quite like the logical song, until he says Good Morning wihtout the "lyrics" it might actually be listenable -- jai@illitrate.co.uk --- "Lately I'm not the only one I say never trust anyone I won't be the one who is going to let you down Maybe you'll get what you want this time around The trick is to keep breathing" - Garbage, Version 2.0

Hmm... the club and pee wee mixes of Posse don't got HP's lyrics over it, so maybe the same goes for Ramp and the mixes? ------ Thomas Touzimsky "Sometimes I think of letting go and never looking back and never moving forward so there would never be a past."
On this evening's edition of The Weakest Link, Anne Robinson asked "Which band had two top ten singles called 'What Time Is Love?' and 'Last Train to Trancentral'?" Luckily the person being asked the question got it right! ;-)

What's this apparent collaboration connection between Jimmy and Adamski? http://www.guardian.co.uk/arts/features/story/0,11710,934003,00.html Between his days in punk band the Stupid Babies through the Adamski years to now, as Adam Sky, with collaborators like DJ Hell, KLF's Jimmy Cauty, Boy George, Lady Miss Kier and Miss Kittin, his career "has always been about randomness. I'm having the most fun ever now." Adam plays Nag, Nag, Nag on May 7 and The Egg on May 9, both in London.
What's this apparent collaboration connection between Jimmy and Adamski?
They are connected through the Atomizer single and a record label of which I forgot the details right now... something new, though. ------ Thomas Touzimsky "Sometimes I think of letting go and never looking back and never moving forward so there would never be a past."
Hell - aka DJ Hell - the Berlin resident behind the International Deejay Gigolos label has teamed up with none other than one time acid house star Adamski to start a new label called 'Quasi Moda'. Adamski, who appeared in the middle of Britain's Acid House boom and scored hits with 'N-R'G' and 'Killer' (with vocalist Seal) is now known as Adam Sky, though he was born Adam Tinley. 'Quasi Moda's first release will be 'Hooked on Radiation' by Atomizer, which was co-produced by one time KLF member Jimmy Caughty. Meanwhile, Hell has a compilation released on React in early autumn featuring the likes of Front 242, Nitzer Ebb and more. He will also team up with Raf Simons for a project next year. ------ Sick old cokehead freak DJ Hell has teamed up with the artist formerly known as Adamski to launch a new label called Quasi Moda. Adamski, now know, amusingly, as Adam Sky, has signed Atomizer to the label, and the first release will 'Hooked on Radiation', which was co-produced by KLF schemester Jimmy Cauty. ------ Not really a collaboration like expected, but at least there is a connection. ------ Thomas Touzimsky "Sometimes I think of letting go and never looking back and never moving forward so there would never be a past."
Came from Frasier at Parallel... He says there may be sheets of these to follow. Perhaps free... He says he'll send some if they are. http://www.toxicpop.co.uk/random/stamp_small.jpg
John McKie laments the loss of irreplaceable 1960s Top Of The Pops performances... The Guardian - Saturday April 26, 2003 http://www.guardian.co.uk/arts/features/story/0,11710,942725,00.html "Anthea Turner introducing the KLF as the KLM" ;-)
http://residentadvisor.com.au/review_view.asp?ID=1000 The Black Dog & Black Sifichi - Genetically Modified Style: Techno Cat Number: DUKE115 Release Date: 31 March 2003 'Genetically Modified' is the latest in an increasingly long line of remix collections, but when your interpreters include Jimmy Cauty and 808 State it's bound to be a disc worth hearing. And so it proves. Cauty opens things up with a typically offbeat version of 'Invisible Things'. The trademark deep spoken word that accompanies much of this music continues through remixes from Technova ('Interview') and Black Dog themselves ('Unsavoury Products') until the darkly humourous 'Mental Health Hotline' gets a thumping rollercoaster ride courtesy of CJ Bolland. There's a couple more jacking techno cuts - 'Let's Talk Music' from 808 State should get the neighbours up! - and room for a Balearic twist from Mescalito, with the simple yet effective 'Invisible Things'. The Laub mix of 'New Your Dorx' is something else though, a paranoid trip gone wrong. Closing with ten snapshot adverts, most of them very funny, this is a remix portfolio well worth opening. Rating: 8 / 10.
