Rapidshare Uploads / mh79 banned?
Apparently somebody reported mh79 to the list owner for sharing his Rapidshare uploads and consequently got banned from posting here. So, whoever you are, feel proud of yourself. Did you do this all yourself or did you run to your mum, crying and demading her to write it for you? Some people just suck. ..::// Thomas

Email Lazlo asking him to reconsider; he's usually reasonable about this sort of thing. He doesn't usually read the list, so if one or more of Mr. Stringer's whiny-ass fans presented a skewed version of what's going on, it could have been enough. I hope that at least Mr. Stringer got banned at the same time, for obvious reasons. ;P Chris

Mr. Longmire has been eminently sane in any dealings I've had with him - which were years ago and not many - and I agree with Chris about contacting him (Chris is also another person with his head on straight - he probably doesn't remember me or recognize my email, but we've had transactions dating back several years as well). FRankly, I have a hard time understanding why people are bitching about the rapidshare notifications. jeff
Before too much fingerpointing takes place - it wasn't me who reported him (if anyone actually did, of course) - I'm happy just filtering his (and ftp/rob related nonsense) emails at source. Does Lazlo still actually monitor this list? I seem to remember an invasion by some knobs off the Orb list some time ago and the view was that they couldn't be banned as Lazlo no longer follows the list? -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of theREALmxyzptlk Sent: 17 March 2006 10:07 To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. I don't believe he monitors it, but he did step in recently on either this list or the Orb list and lay down the law. Monitor or not, admin rights are admin rights. jeff
It might also go some way to explaining RM's off-the-cuff apology to anyone he may have upset. Is it possible mh79's posts were considered spam, given the sheer number of them? -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of theREALmxyzptlk Sent: 17 March 2006 10:32 To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. Why is my ftp nonsense and his stuff good. I have the same files that he has? I have always offered then freely to the list. It isn't not my fault that some people cant access them. Hi Rob You misunderstand. I didn't mean your FTP site is nonsense - in fact, I've pulled around 200MB from it over the last few days alone as I can't access RapidShare. What I meant by 'rob/ftp nonsense' are the ridiculous flame/sarcastic threads that constantly fill my inbox. Apologies for any offence caused.
