Forgive the ignorance, but what's the actual track ? Is this a unique recording or exclusive mix ?
I always thought ETERNA1 had 3 mixes on it: The Club Mix (famous as the "Italian pressing" bootleg) The Club Mix Edit (which has been widely mp3-ed) Original version (the same as KLF010CD rather than JAMSLP5) The "303 edit" version (so called) from the White Room promo clip is not available on ETERNA 1. Is this right, Tim? I've always wondered why "ETERNA 1" and "CHOC ICE 1, 2, 3" were the only records not to have a JAMS/KLF or Disco 2000 serial number (in the UK, and with the exception of "Space", obviously). Also - I've seen several sleeves/labels for PT3 and PT4 on ebay over the years - but never PT5 KLF8T (or for that matter PT3 KLF6R and PT4 KLF7R). Do these exist? hi john the mispressed test press that i have is from the Aside plate only and hence why i only specified the one track apparently the plates are first tested individually having identified that the wrong plate had been used it was replaced and this mispress would normally be discarded - thakfully it was not! to the best of my knowledge The White Room promo clip edit was not used in any vinyl tape or cd format - more's the pity as like many i would love to hear a full length version) perhaps jimmy might put it in a future remix for the DLR film interestingly the handwriting in the run out groove for this mispress of ETERNA 1 is exactly the same as that in the run out grooves to CHOC ICE 3, KLF 92 PROMO 2 and KLF 92 PROMO 3 (official) which indicates that for the very limited pressings Bill & Jimmy always went to the same record pressers tim funding future projects ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Milne" <john@highlandland.fsnet.co.uk> To: <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, September 17, 2004 2:02 PM Subject: [KLF] Re: Ebay rarities

What about the labels issue, are they legit ? Surely anyone could knock these up. There was no reply to Johns original question. No offense, just wondering. JEZ.
no offense taken jez... but what labels issue? this is a single sided white label test pressing obviously it is impossible for me to give absolute warrenty... but with the benefit of close inspection and comparing it with corroborative evidence such as the size and style of writing in the run out grooves on CHO ICE 3 KLF 92 PROMO 2 & KLF 92 PROMO 3 which are all the same... i can be about as certain as possible that this came from the self same pressing plant if there are any other questions that it may be felt i have not addressed please feel free to fire them at me... tim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jez Rothwell" <jez@toppos.co.uk> To: "All bound for Mu-Mu Land." <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Saturday, September 18, 2004 1:55 AM Subject: Re: [KLF] Re: Ebay rarities

If I'm reading it correctly, he's not referring to the white label record; he's referring to these items: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3840276723 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3840277519 seek np: Jeff Bennett - djmix, June 2004 http://www.jeffbennett.info/djlive.htm http://www.jeffbennett.info/music/jeffbdjmix0406.mp3
that would make sense!!!

my knowledge about the pure trance series is pretty much limited to the same info you guys already hold (reference pete robinsons "a justified & ancient history") plus i have seen but do not own myself a PT5 which was turquise & black rather than the normal pinky red as well as a PT sleeve which i can not remember the cat number to but the track name at the bottom of the sleeve was The White Room... i havent seen the sleeve to e-train to trancentral but i have seen the labels all of this really does just add to the confusion about what happened to their plans to release a pure trance track every month but then i guess as with a good many of bill and jimmys plans they found themselves diverted onto other courses tim ----- Original Message ----- From: "seek" <eclectics@comcast.net> To: "All bound for Mu-Mu Land." <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Saturday, September 18, 2004 7:17 PM Subject: Re: [KLF] Re: Ebay rarities
