Has the FAQ been updated since 1997?
No!
Maybe someone could ask some FAQ's then... updating would be necessary, but I can't make all the questions up on my own. ;-)

Where did the Black Room demos come from? Where did Live On Stage come from? Does Wanda Dee have any-frikkin-thing to do with the KLF? (I know these are answered on klf.de and in the list archives ... but the point of a FAQ is to collect such things together) Is Gimpo a nutter? As long as the answer is right, who cares if the question is wrong? On a scale of 1 to 4, what are your feelings about the colour green? -- HAIL ERIS ALL HAIL DISCORDIA
you might wanna check out http://www.illitrate.co.uk/klf/ while i'll admit that it is hopelessly out of date, it's answer 3 of those (well, not really the black room one) On Thursday, June 5, 2003, at 03:54 PM, Jonathan Wakely wrote:

Where did Live On Stage come from?
Two good questions, and also... Is Love Trance really by the KLF or is it a bootleg?!!
Does Wanda Dee have any-frikkin-thing to do with the KLF?

Where did the Black Room demos come from?
i thought this was answered in a faq already but in case it hasnt been..... --8<----8<---- not my text btw - cant remember who's --8<------- These tracks purport to be recorded from demo tapes/DATs of the KLF's sessions with Extreme Noise Terror recording The Black Room. Some of the tracks are probably authentic, others probably not. They are presented here so you can make up your own mind. Unfortunately they have been digitized at a very low bitrate (48k) which may have adversely affected the sound quality. --8<----8<------8<----8<------8<----8<------8<----8<---- in the article at klf.de, Mark Bailey (from ENT) said.... Thinking about it I think the Napster tracks are actually from the original rehearsals from the studio in Ipswich and not the actual tracks recorded at Marcus. We all had a copy of the tape. I doubt if anyone from ENT apart from myself would know how to convert cassette to MP3 so I think someone in the band did a copy of the tape for a friend who in turn converted it, or the guy fropm the Ipswich studio may have done it. I think the tracks are from Ipswich because the quality is pretty rough. cheers b
