Re: [KLF] 18 KLF videos for sale on ebay...
Well, That's an odd coincidence. A few years ago I bought the "Bring the beat back" cdr throughthe same private ad in the Record Collector like you. I received a letter that the "promo's" were delayed and later on I received a letter in which the guy stated the promo's were in but were switched in the promotors office.. He instead sent me a cd-r copy of TWR. Came in a white stickered sleeve. I still got the letters from him and I tried to contact him on the number but the guy who answered the phone told me "Pete" had retired due to (..) "If the bring the beat back cd ever will arrive, i'll contact you asap, kind regards pete" I thought it was vinyl addiction. Is it possible to have a copy of that bring the beat back cd-r? Maybe now I can get it after all these years... Kind regards Maarten

Regarding the 'Smile Orange' video included in this item, in the mid-90s I bought a couple of KLF boots on CDR, these being the White Room OST and a compilation called 'Bring the Beat Back' via a private ad in 'Record Collector'...included with these (at least I think it came with these) was an insert with tracklists and a little advert for a 'Smile Orange' video though I think that was a video interpretation of '1987' rather than a compilation of TV appearances etc. I think it was given a name along the lines of "What the fuck is going on"...needless to say I never bought the video but if i find that piece of paper I will make it available somewhere.
Interestingly, the 'Bring the Beat Back' boot had a mix of WTIL that I have never heard elsewhere...similar to the Land of Oz and Monster Attack mixes but a shorter edit with different drum pattern (although similarly 'live' style drums)...unfortunately the package was lost down the back of a radiator at my local post sorting office for a while and as a result the CD has never played properly (crackling and distortion) although oddly it seems to play OK on my old PS1. I ripped this track and made it available on AudioGalaxy a while back (Thomas you may remember as I think I sent the track to you back then) but this was the distorted version. Soon i'll hook my PS1 to my PC and clean it up a bit so everyone can have a listen.

In case you're interested, I've put all my KLF videos up on ebay !

A list of 18 videos, mostly promos - all KLF/JAMMS.
Unfortunately, moving house so I need to clear some of the stuff out of my flat...first the videos, then perhaps one or two of the 12"s (wtil acid mix, j&a anti-acapella etc...), it depends on how pushed for cash/space I'm going to be !
Feel free to email me with any questions about the videos if you want.
Cheerio Neil
