Sadly, the links for the album and rarities are now down - but a 1982 Peel Session is still downloadable. Was this Brilliant before Jimmy joined? I've always believed he was in Brilliant for the album, but earlier singles ("Colours", Wait For It", etc) were done without him - and without June Montana, for that matter.

Anyway - something else has just occured to me ... the KLF's habit of having a "part I" and a "part III" (like in "Rockman Rock Parts I & III") ... isn't that from Deep Purple? I know they had a slight obsession with for a while in 1987 (talking about released "The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu in Rock", and working with Glenn Hughes at the other end of their career, too).
