OK, let's sort it out: "Evil Groupie": Courtney Love was the Teardrops' groupie. Drummond was the band's manager. Many claim that Courtney drove Kurt to death. Drummond may have seen all this. (After all, he's wiser than three, King Solomon too. See also "Foretold" by Death In June.) "Drug Abuse": "Yeah I've lusted and lied and taken a line..." (Candyman on "Who Killed The JAMs) "Suicidal Tendecies": Drummond said he wanted to chop off his hands on the Brits. Are these enough? After all, they were writing about this, but it was rather "about" than "being" -though they lived the rocker life, of course. But not in that meaning as Kurt did. IMHO Nirvana is an overrated thing. They may have made MTV-compatible punk, they may broke Seattle into the media, but once Kurt got the fame he once fighted for, all he wanted was to throw it away. I feel sorry for him, but also blaiming him for turning hapless 14-year-olds into brainwashed Nirvana-T-shirt buying masses. Nirvana wasn't a great band. At least the Sex Pistols and Dead Kennedys could write SONGS and LYRICS and be angry at the same time. The problem with Nirvana is that their songs aren't angry. It's just spleen without a cause, it's a no-accord bore. When I first heard "Nevermind", I said to myself: "What's the big noise about it? It sounds OK, but it's not THAT good to be on Mf***TV, 24/7!" Of course I felt sorry when I first heard that Kurt killed himself, but just becuse his death was so meaningless-just like is ife _AS A ROCKSTAR_. People with better brains have said this a zillion times before me. Courtney is just as disgusting as she ever was. But, of course, she made her career out of this shit.
